PROJECT OVERVIEW
The CozyGanoosh 2-in-1 Seasonal Footmuff was designed to give families a warmth solution that truly works across climates, addressing feedback that the previous CozyGanoosh was too warm for milder weather. After exploring multiple directions, I created a zip-out dual-liner system in both the front and back panels. The two-layer approach includes a plush, fuzzy liner rated to -5°F for cold conditions, and a soft knit liner comfortable to 30°F, enabling parents to switch between levels of warmth with ease.
My work focused on designing how each liner integrates and stays secure within the footmuff. The front and back panels fully zip in and out, while the back liner features hook-and-loop strips near the harness openings to keep it aligned and anchored during use. I also incorporated hook-and-loop attachment on the liner hood, ensuring it connects cleanly to the outer hood. Combined with a windproof, water-repellent, machine-washable shell, the updated CozyGanoosh delivers true seasonal versatility, improved usability, and a clean, cohesive aesthetic.
